August 2020

It's hard to believe that summer is winding down and we are starting to think about back to school...a little differently this year. I hope that everyone is staying healthy and finding ways to stay connected to family and friends.

As I've shared previously, the real estate market has remained strong through the pandemic...and, in my opinion, is only getting stronger.  Nationwide, prices of homes rose 8.5% in July alone. That is consistent with what we are seeing in the Austin market. Prices are increasing due to intensified buyer demand. That increased buyer demand is being driven by people that are looking to change their space or find new space that meets the demands of people being home more often now. And out of state buyers that can now work from anywhere are flooding into Texas looking for lower cost of living, great schools, and a different quality of life.

Feel free to reach out to me any time to discuss your own personal real estate needs or if want more details on current market conditions.
