Happy December in what seems like the longest year on record, but seemed to fly by at the same time. May the last month of 2020 be the best one!

I wish you and your family the very best as we continue the holiday season. Traditions will look different for most of us this year, so enjoy them in every way.

As we head into 2021, the real estate forecast doesn’t appear to be shifting in any way. Key indicators for a continued strong market include super low interest rates, limited inventory, high buyer demand, release of a COVID vaccination, the election, and finally - SPRING! Bring on the new year.

Austin-area homebuilding still booming amid pandemic The pandemic has made for a rough year for a number of industries in Central Texas -- but the home construction sector hasn’t been one of them. Austin's homebuilding industry has continued to thrive despite the outbreak, as new home starts were up 17% in the 12 months that ended in September, according to industry research firm Zonda (formerly Metrostudy).
